Wooddities features designs imagined and created by  yours truly, Jonathan Gilbert.  I live near Woodstock, NY and my wife and I have a store in Saugerties, NY that specializes in handmade gifts and designs called The Modern Dream.  

 

I have only been working in wood for a few years now, but I love it and am excited to share my creations.  I am fascinated with Kinetic art and especially marble machines, but I have many other hobbies that may sneak their way into my blog from time to time.
